1. Purpose for collecting data 

Regarding the personal data we receive from you when you submit your personal data through our offered services,, we process (study and evaluate) this data based on GDPR article 6, para 1 (f). The legitimate interest pursued by us is to matchmake women-founders with potential investors and other business partners. Your information may be shared with other registered companies to make it available to potential investors or women-founded companies seeking partnerships. 

2. How we collect personal data

Even Founders collects and processes personal data through our website www.evenfounders.com. It is optional to submit personal data when visiting our websites. The processing of submitted personal data through our offered services, like newsletter subscription, database, start-up school and event registration, is based on user consent.

While using Our Service, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you. Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to:

  • Email address
  • First name and last name
  • Address, State, Province, ZIP/Postal code, City

2.1 Website and Cookies

Even Founders uses Google Analytics as our web analytics tool. We use Google Tag Manager as a tool to manage most of the cookies mentioned here. By visiting www.evenfounders.com, you consent to our use of cookies, and consent that this processing is subject to the privacy policy of Google Analytics.

Google Analytics is set up to process IP addresses in a disidentified form. Google Analytics collects data through cookies, which are small text files that are placed on your computer when browsing a website. Even Founders uses cookies to generate statistics for analysis to improve functionality and user experience of our website.

Most browsers will automatically accept cookies. If you do not accept the use of cookies you must change your browser settings. Deactivating cookies may result in limited functionality of our website.

2.2 Newsletter and Event Subscription 

You can subscribe to Even Founders newsletters and events to receive updates on our activities and receive invitations. MailChimp is our service provider for distribution of newsletters and acts as a data processor for Even Founders. To send the newsletter to the correct recipients, we must store your email address. Any other personal information is optional to submit. The submitted data will never be shared, rented or sold to any third parties, and will be deleted if you unsubscribe. The data is used only for administering the newsletter. The newsletter and the signup form contains links to unsubscribe or administer your own registered data. You can unsubscribe at any time.

2.3. Photos and video at events

Even Founders use photographs and videos taken at our events in print and digital media with the purpose to disseminate knowledge and information about our activities. When you attend an event organised by Even Founders, you automatically give your consent for Even Founders to use photographs and videos taken at the event when you register or sign up for the event. Even Founders will make any photographer’s presence apparent in our sign-up or registration forms.

Even Founders will only publish photographs or videos in context, and there must be no reason to believe that damage or distress could potentially be caused to the people appearing in the footage.

Speakers at Even Founders’s events will be asked directly to give their permission to publish photographs and videos where they are on together with their name, title and organisation. The consent may be revoked at any time by contact with Even Founders.

When the name and image of a person are linked, or are capable of being linked, Even Founders will obtain consent of the persons being photographed or filmed to use the image.

If you wish a published image of yourself removed, Even Founders can be contacted, and the image will be removed from the web as fast as possible.

2.4 Start-Up School by Accelerace

Even Founders process personal data when signing-up for our startup-school with Accelerace.  A data processing agreement is in place between Even Founders and Accelerace. You can find information about Accelerace`s Privacy Policy here.

2.5 Database

When you submit your company as a female (co-)founded company, an investor, or any other type of supporter, we collect your name, email, phone number, and other relevant information about your company.

3.Transfer of your personal data

We may transfer personal data to third parties, such as tax authorities or other public institutions, if it is necessary for us to comply with a legal obligation to which we are subject, pursuant to GDPR article 6, para. 1 (c).

Further, based on a legitimate interest, pursuant to GDPR article 6, para. 1 (f), we may transfer your personal data to our technical service providers and system suppliers under processor agreements in order to secure, access, and back-up your personal data. We might also share your information with investors or other companies in order to optimise the funding and business opportunity for your company.  

We only transfer your personal data to data importers outside the EU in compliance with the standard data protection clauses adopted by the European Commission providing the appropriate safeguards. You can obtain a copy of the provided safeguards by contacting us at [email protected].

4. Retention of data

We retain your personal data as long as registered for one of our services, this website is operational, unless you withdraw your consent.

  • in special cases, to have personal data about you deleted before the end of our general retention period ends;
